Chef de l’Église catholique, il a choisi son nom pontifical en réponse à l’intelligence artificielle comme nouvelle révolution industrielle et, dans l’encyclique Magnifica Humanitas de 2026, appelle à « désarmer » l’IA et à la maintenir sous la conscience et la surveillance humaines.
